USA or Japan Summer Tour! No Emirates Cup in 2012 because of the Olympics! Wilshere “I’d love Arsene Wenger to succeed Fabio Capello as Engalnd Boss!” Gervinho "I don't know what I would have done had I not become a footballer!" Podolski wants out of Germany & move to Arsenal!

·         Jack Wilshere would love his Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to succeed Fabio Capello.

The England star admits he would be "delighted" if it happened after Euro 2012.
Midfielder Wilshere, 19, said: "It wouldn't be bad if he got the job. He continues to prove he's the best.
"People question him every year but I cannot remember the last time we didn't qualify from the group stages of the Champions League.
"He and Alex Ferguson are the best in the Premier League. People who question them are stupid.
"If he was to be made England manager, I'd be delighted."
·         Arsenal winger Gervinho admits he would be lost without football.
The 24-year-old joined the Gunners from French champions Lille in the summer and has impressed during his short time in north London.
Gervinho hails from the Ivory Coast in west Africa, which in recent times has produced the likes of Salomon Kalou, Emmanuel Eboue and the Toure brothers - Kolo and Yaya.
The aforementioned are all graduates of the country's prestigious Jean-Marc Guillou academy and Gervinho admits he would have struggled without playing the game.
"I don't know what I would have done had I not become a footballer," Gervinho said.
"I've always wanted to do that, even when my family would try to stop me playing football so that I went to school. They wanted me to go to a normal school. They felt it was a bit risky as the academy was new and not really known.
"I had to bring someone who had faith in my skills to convince them. I started playing at my local estate club. I used to wake up every morning to go to play in the club. I loved it so much, it brought a lot of wonderful things in my life.
"Back in the days, being able to join the Jean-Marc Guillou academy was one of the best things that could happen to a youngster from Ivory Coast.
"There were thousands of kids who wanted to join that school so it was a great feeling for me."
Gervinho will likely line-up against Everton this weekend for Arsenal, who are hoping to rise up to fourth in the Premier League.
The current level is a far cry from the standard the 24-year-old played when he moved to Europe with Belgian outfit Beveren.
"The transfer from Africa to Beveren was part of the training," said Gervinho, who later moved to French side Le Mans.
"Most of the players would leave the centre for Belgium. We all met again there in Beveren. It was a way to adjust to European football and having us all together made the move easier for all of us.
"We were all happy to leave Africa for Europe, we knew how lucky we were to move to Europe at a young age. Someone was looking after us. Beveren helped me a lot to adjust to Europe."
·         Arsenal are believed to be on top in the race to land German Bundesliga side FC Koln's striker, Lukas Podolski.

The reports have been strengthened by suggestions the player himself fancies a move out of Germany as soon as possible.
However, Podolski, 26, has made it very clear that a move will only happen if he is guaranteed first team football at his new club, as he looks to stay in contention for a place in the German national team ahead of next summer's European Championships.
Although the Gunners' boss, Arsene Wenger, earlier ruled out placing any bids for players in the January transfer window, it now seems clear that the club could make a bid for the German, as they should be in need of a second striker, following reports the likes of Nicklas Bendtner and Marouane Chamakh will leave the Emirates.
Podolski, however, will know he faces stiff competition from Dutchman Robin van Persie and Ivorian Gervinho, who have shown immense quality in their respective roles this season, should he transfer to the English club.
The player's ongoing contract negotiations with Koln are reportedly at a standstill with the club hopeful of a deal being agreed in the winter. Sources, however, claim Podolski could be on his way to England and to Arsenal.

Lukas Josef Podolski has made a total of 164 appearances for the club and has managed to score 79 times thus far.
