AW injuries have cost us this season, we have lost too many big players! Sagna "We have to keep our heads up, work hard and think about the Premier League! We’re professional and we have to fight until the end!” Directors are united behind manager AW! Arshavin can leave! Fabianski & Park can go on loan! Opare Linked!

  • Bacary Sagna believes Arsenal have the quality to produce the required performance next Sunday against their local North London rivals Tottenham.
However, the players must undertake some soul searching after a difficult week for the club.

The Gunners crashed out of the FA Cup at Sunderland on Saturday, a result which came on the back of an abysmal performance at AC Milan, where a 4-0 defeat all but ended their Champions League ambitions.

"We have to keep our heads up, work hard and think about the Premier League because we have a derby next weekend against Tottenham," Sagna said.

"We need to do it for us and for the fans as well. We have to react. We can't play like this against Tottenham otherwise we will lose.

"We have one week to get ready for the game, to question ourselves, to work and to talk to each other.

"We are professional and we have to fight until the end.

"We have to look forwards. We are fourth in the Premier League and we can't let it go like this"
  • Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists their injury record has hurt their season.
While his critics claim Arsenal have gone backwards this year, Wenger is adamant injuries are the prime cause for their current problems.

He said: “We have many players missing and big, big players too.

“It’s hard enough to lose one or two players and we have lost too many.”
  • Arsenal directors are united behind manager Arsene Wenger.
Under-pressure Wenger still has the full support of the Arsenal hierarchy even though the club’s exit from the FA Cup means this season will be seven without a trophy.

But Wenger, whose contract expires in 2014, is still hopeful of finishing in the Champions League places and the board will back him even if he does not.

A source told us: “We are committed to Arsene and we expect him to see out his contract.”
  • Arsenal are making goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski available for loan.
Fabianski has also been told he can leave on loan as he looks to keep his dreams of playing for Poland in Euro 2012 alive.

A return to Poland could be on for the keeper.
  • Arsenal are making Park Ju-young available for loan.
South Korean international Park has been told he can leave the club on loan - just six months after his £5million arrival from Monaco.

Park has played just six minutes of Premier League football for the Gunners since his move - his only goal coming in a Carling Cup win over Bolton in October.

Standard Liege fullback Daniel Opare is interesting Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Wenger is in the hunt for Opare, who has impressed for Standard Liege this season.

The defender, 21, was part of Ghana's African Nations Cup squad but did not play.

Opare was first brought to Europe by Real Madrid before moving on to Standard.
  • Rangers are expected to send on-loan Arsenal defender Kyle Bartley back to London this week.
Bartley — ill and injured for Saturday's 1-0 home defeat against Kilmarnock — is gearing up to return to the Emirates.

He is contracted until the end of the season but is already tied up with Arsenal until 2014.
  • Tom Cruise could be on his way to New England Revolution according to reports.
The 20-year old former Arsenal defender will link up with the Revs for a two-week training stint ahead of the 2012 MLS season in a bid to win a deal.

Cruise, who had a loan spell with Carlisle United late last season, departed Arsenal last summer after his contract expired and will be available on a free transfer.
